• Application Programmer – temporary position (Remote eligible)

  A strong self-starter with experience developing and maintaining software programs. Candidates should have solid knowledge in computer programming and database management, the ability to multi-task numerous projects, and interact with multiple personalities including those that may not have technical expertise.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and continue to develop our Judge and Official Tournament Store Portals
  • Maintain and continue to develop our KONAMI Tournament Software
  • Work with Organized Play, Marketing, and Digital Products Teams to assess programing needs and develop tools to help streamline their processes
  • Convert existing Official Tournament Store database tool to SQL back end and improve the synchronization with the Official Tournament Store Portal

  QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Personal initiative and sound business judgment required to identify, evaluate and respond to job needs.
  • Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment.
  • Proven ability to work with various personality types and work styles in a multicultural environment.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Strong knowledge of application programing languages including
  • .NET – C#, Webforms, Winforms, MVC
  • HTML 5, CSS 3
  • Modern JS Frameworks (Node JS, React JS, Angular, TypeScript, Sequelize, Express.js, jQuery)
  • Database Technologies (MySQL, Mongo DB / Amazon Document DB, MS SQL Server)
  • Responsive Design
  • Version Control (Git, Team Foundation)

  REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of at least 4 years.

  ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT ARE A PLUS

  • Passion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand and knowledge of Organized Play
