  • R&D Associate, Card Business

    A strong self-starter that can work with multiple stakeholders to provide the best products for the Department, and the best communication methods to the playing community utilizing our various media channels.     • Reports to: Manager, R&D
    • Evaluate, analyze and play-test multiple projects for the US/EU market and work with the KDE office to improve content to maximize revenue:
    – Work with R&D and Product Marketing in US/EU office to make improvements on products designed for the global market
    – Ensure that new world premiere cards will be a sales driver for core boosters
    • US/EU Exclusive Products: Help to create new products within available frameworks. Use assets to maximize revenue and pursue a repeat purchase model. Ensure product mix is compelling and relevant to the current meta.
    • Create product descriptions and fact sheet text for each product released with a cohesive marketing strategy. Suggest and help with strategy video content to further enhance product offerings.
    • Work with KDE R&D, Organized Play and KDE-E/KDE to update the Forbidden & Limited List with a list that best fits the player base in the Western markets
    • Monitor trends in other games
    Desired Skills & Experience


    • 4+ years of experience in TCG’s, ideally as a ranked player, judge, tournament organizer, and/or OTS employee
    • Knowledge of Yu-Gi-Oh! property (TCG, anime/manga)

    1. Result-Driven User Acquisition Digital Marketing (40%)
    – Develop, manage, and optimize user acquisition/engagement campaigns across mobile platforms through research, and measurement of key KPIs to meet ROI goals. Also, develop and manage creatives and copies to provide the most effective multi-language marketing activities in the global market by working closely with our in-house creative team, related departments, and partners. Uses Adobe Creative Suite, SQL, SPSS, R, Python and Adobe Analytics.
    2. Marketing Research and Data Analysis (40%)

  • Associate Product Manager

    Job Title: Associate Product Manager Department: Card Business Division Reports to: Marketing Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for executing brand and marketing plans for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME products as well as Organized Play events. They must work closely with several cross functional teams including R&D, Web & Social, Digital Games, Production, and Sales to achieve or exceed overall corporate goals. The ideal candidate should have experience managing licensed consumer brands and marketing campaigns targeting boys 8-14, be organized and detail oriented, and be a team player.

    • Work closely with R&D to develop and refine communication strategies for products, including product positioning, creative strategy, advertising execution, promotion development and execution, with a focus on new user acquisition.
    • Assist with developing and implementing strategic product positioning, define and set budgets with Marketing Manager, and assist with marketing plans.
    • Assist with developing product briefs for trade, consumer-facing product pages, marketing summaries, and other promotional programs to enhance sales of products.
    • Communicate with the external PR agency to maintain cohesive corporate and product messaging and develop strategies for user retention as well as new user acquisition.
